Dave grew up in Brandon, South Dakota. He got a degree in Bible from Tabor College in Kansas, and then returned home to obtain an M.Div. (emphasis: youth ministry) from North American Baptist Seminary. For seven plus years he served as Pastor of Youth and Worship at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church in British Columbia, after which he moved to our area. Dave is a gifted musician, athlete, and master-craftsmen with wood, and Crossway is fortunate he’s been working with its youth since 2011. His wife, Jane, and three children, Addison, Elliott, and Greta are a great blessing from the Lord. Crossway wouldn’t be the same without them either.
George grew up in Indio, California, which is near Palm Springs. He graduated Nevada Union in '86, then served in the Navy and was a part of Desert Storm. He has worked as a Production Supervisor for (what is now) Tyco Electronics for the past fifteen years, meanwhile finishing a degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado Tech in '08. George has been with Crossway from the very start. Among other things, he runs point for the church's finances, keeping the team up to date. His wife, Becky, homeschools their four children, Kiah, James, Eden, and Marli.
Jerry was born and raised in Burbank, California. He went to Burbank High ('74), obtained over time a B.A. in Biblical Ministries from L.A. Baptist College ('83), and has been in route-sales ever since. While attending Grace Community Church of Sun Valley, he led an area Bible study he remembers fondly. In 1994 he and his family moved to NorCal. Together with his wife, Linda, they have raised, put through college, and married off their two boys, Timothy and Matthew. Jerry and Linda are also into their third decade now of leading AWANA! Good thing they like kids so much, as they have recently been made grandparents.
